How big are the number/letter lights?
Each of our lights use 240v LED bulbs with fairground casements, supplied with a 3m cable and are finished in white satin and stand at just under 5 feet high. The red hashtag is slightly smaller.
Cost, delivery and duration of hire?
Our prices are simple – please see the price page for more information. We offer a 24 hour hiring period unless specified otherwise. We offer free delivery, set up and collection in the North Devon area within a 25 mile radius of Great Torrington, we charge a small delivery fee to cover fuel outside of this area, please contact us to discuss.
Are they safe?
We use low wattage LED lights which do not heat up like normal light bulbs so they are extremely safe. Each electrical connection is fully PAT tested and meets the required safety standards.
What if a light bulb blows?
The bulbs used are LED low wattage and therefore long lasting. Prior to each event we will ensure each letter/number is in full working order before delivery.
We will also supply spare bulbs in the highly unlikely event that a bulb blows. Any spare bulbs must be returned back to us.
Can we have the lights outside?
Our LED light up letters and numbers are not suitable for outside use and must only be used indoors. They are however suitable for use in a marquee.
We have public liability insurance and can email or post a copy if required.
When do I need to pay and is a deposit required?
We will send you an invoice by email and require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total of your invoice to secure the lights for your date and to cover any accidental damage whilst out on hire. The remaining balance will be due 7 days before the date of your event. Payments can be made via bank transfer or cheque. You will find the payment details on your invoice.
If for any reason you do not pay the outstanding balance by the given due date and do not cancel before the specified time, then we reserve the right not to deliver your items however you will still be liable to pay the total invoice value in full.
If for any reason you need to cancel, you will be required to do so in writing either by email, post or via our website contact page. In the event of a cancellation, you will forfeit your deposit. You will also be liable for the total invoice amount in full if you do not cancel within 7 days prior to the event.
